He perfected in Weimar with Professor L\u00e1szlo Mezo and he was Radu Aldulescu\u2019s assistance at master classes. Marin Cazacu is a recipient of international competitions in Geneva, Markneukirchen, Leipzig, Bologna, Belgrade.<\/p>\n<p>He has been a soloist of the Philharmonic &#8220;George Enescu&#8221; Bucharest since 1983 and has done extensive work both in Romania and abroad, under the baton of great conductors: Gennady Rojdestvenski, Sergiu Comissiona, Lu Jin, Nanse Gum Cristian Mandel, Horia Andreescu, Antoni Ros Marba, Mendi Rodan, Misha Katz, Jean P\u00e9risson.<\/p>\n<p>He sang together with prestigious artists such as Vladimir Orlov, Valentin Gheorghiu, Radu Aldulescu, Mihaela Martin, Mirel Iancovici, Ilia Grubert, Jeremy Menuhin and as a member of \u201cPro Arte\u201d band and collaborator of \u201cVoces\u201d quartet, as well as for great European festivals (Munich, Berlin, Milan, Venice, Valencia, Bratislava, Sofia).<\/p>\n<p>Since 1992 he has been teaching cello at Universitatea Na\u0163ional\u0103 de Muzic\u0103 from Bucharest. In 1998 he founded \u201cCellissimo\u201d quartet \u2013 together with Alexandra Gu\u0163u, R\u0103zvan Suma and Olga M\u0103nescu \u2013 a group with which he performed at festivals in Venice, Mateus (Portugal), Macao, Singapore, Istanbul, Madrid and Romania and he performs recitals with his students from 8 to 12 cellos in the \u201eVioloncellissimo\u201c band.
