 The “Prelude” Chamber Choir repertoire is vast, comprising over 300 preclassical, classical and romantic works, Christmas carols and religious songs, Romanian music and songs from all over the world, works from contemporary literature and vocally-symphonic ones.

 In its 42 years of activity, “Preludiu” has done over 350 radio and TV recordings, an “Electrocord” disk and three CDs (Christmas Carols and Songs, Byzantine Music in Romanian Culture, Masters of Romanian choral art). Since it appeared, the group has performed over 2,500 concerts in Romania and abroad, during the 90 tours in 30 countries in Europe, America and Asia, being a recipient at several international festivals (Pardubice, Nitra, Barcelona, Celje). The “Preludiu” Chamber Chor and Voicu Enăchescu, the conductors, received on the 13th edition of the ”George Enescu” International Festival, ”The Prize for the Exceptional Program Presented”, a distinction awarded by the Interpret’s, Choreographer’s and Musical Critics Union in Romania.
